Tami and Larry have been married for over 10 years, and they have 2 school aged children.  Before joining Tami in the Childcare business, Larry worked at the Idaho Statesman for over 9 years.  Tami has been working with children as long as she can remember.  Starting at the age of 12 with babysitting and continuing on with being a Stay at Home Mom to preschool teaching positions until the opening of Small Spuds. 

Tami and Larry work together to provide a loving home away from home for the children they care for.  The structured environment is great for children, but, there is still time in the day to have hugs!

Tami’s years of preschool teaching positions help her when planning the curriculum for the Preschool aged children.  Daily, Tami sits down with ages 2 and up for a structured learning time that includes music, stories and daily activities. Also, there are craft activities planned at least weekly using paint, safety scissors, glue and other kid friendly products.
